LP Review: Heinrich Dressel - Escape from the Hill
Heinrich Dressel (1845-1920) was a German archaeologist who excavated at Mons Testaceum, classified ancient amphorae and discovered the Duenos inscription, an invaluable piece of Old Latin. Heinrich Dressel has been reborn in Valerio Lombardozzi. Renown for his love of broken pots, he already excavated Mons Testaceum with an Elka Synthex for Strange Life Records. Read more (click here.)

Overdue Revue: Odessa - Polar Intrusion (Disco Praline DP-003)
This is Odessa's debut release and Belgian label Disco Praline's first non Starlight Boyz related outing. Odessa hails from Rotterdam and is both at home making jewelry and behind the vocoder live with Alden Tyrell. Online, she counts him as her 'special friend' and 'musical partner'. He indeed co-writes this 12" and clearly brings some of his magic but I don't think this is the whole story. Read more here ....
