Overdue Revue: Odessa - Polar Intrusion (Disco Praline DP-003)
This is Odessa's debut release and Belgian label Disco Praline's first non Starlight Boyz related outing. Odessa hails from Rotterdam and is both at home making jewelry and behind the vocoder live with Alden Tyrell. Online, she counts him as her 'special friend' and 'musical partner'. He indeed co-writes this 12" and clearly brings some of his magic but I don't think this is the whole story. Read more here ....

Trans Newark Express
A moment of rest and a pang of emotion, for the weary commuter.
They keep pretty much to themselves.
The crisp, icy blue sky makes up for the presence of cell tower. There is nothing inherently wrong with the structure with, may be, the exception of the uninspired and bland plastic emitters which adorn it without a sense of purpose. The problem is with who builds and for what dreadfully predictable purpose.
